By the time they came to record their swansong, Oasis represented the dominant indie aesthetic and it shows here. By far the most 'rock' work in their canon, opening track (and lead single) "Black Nite Crash" sums up the vibe here, a fair crack at Stonesy rhythm'n'voodoo. "Tarantula" documents at once the end of the band and the (artistic) downfall of the Creation records empire.
