Privacy
We need to take your e-mail address if you either sign up to our mailing list or create an account. This will only be used for Rise to send you our mailouts and order updates, we will never use it for any other reason, or pass it to a third party.
We store your address details when you place an order, this is used to only post your order to you, we will not use it for any other reason, or pass it to a third party.
When you enter your payment details, you are taken to the secure WorldPay site, they process your card details and let us know that the payment has been successful. We do not store your card details.
If you create an account with a username and password, we set a cookie on your computer, so you will be logged in when you next return. You can Log Out at any time to remove all our cookies from your computer.
If you are the right holder of any music streamed on the site and wish it to be removed, please email lm@rise-music.co.uk
Security
You have an option to save your Contact and Address details on our website for future orders. This is protected by a password that you choose. Do not give this password to anybody else or they will be able to read your address. They WILL NOT be able to access your card details. We do not store these details, they are completely handled by WorldPay.
The RBS WorldPay payment system uses a combination of both established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Furthermore, our public web servers are certified by Thawte, a public Certificate Authority, ensuring that both the shopper and retailer can have confidence that nobody can impersonate RBS WorldPay to obtain confidential informationtial information.
The transfer of the purchase details from the retailers site to RBS WorldPay are encapsulated using our own encrypted and digitally-signed protocol. This uses a combination of standard methods such as PGP, RSA and MD5 to ensure that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof.
Data storage on RBS WorldPay systems, and the communication between RBS WorldPay and the worldwide banking networks, is regularly audited by the banking authorities to ensure a secure transaction environment. We also ensure that we stay up-to-date with the latest versions of any third-party code we use, and continually review our own proprietary code.
