Prince Rama’s latest cut off their forthcoming “now-age psych opera,†Top Ten Hits Of The End Of The World, is another brain buster — though, also medicine for the hips.
On “Those Who Live For Love Will Live Foreverâ€, sisters Taraka and Nimai Larson assume the identity of I.M.M.O.R.T.A.L.I.F.E., one of the ten fictional bands that round out the album, and harness some dangerously psychedelic synth-pop. Towards the end, the insanity switches to hyperdrive with haunting warnings of “forever, forever, forever.†Who do they think they are? Michael Squints Palledorous?
