Fair Ohs
Salt Flats
After 2 years of making east london a sunnier, happier, better-looking place, the mighty fair ohs (matt flag - bass, joe ryan - drums and eddy frankel - vocals and guitar) release their next single, 'salt flats' via x-ray recordings. the single is released on a flexi-postcard. because they're the kind of new-age free-love sorta band, the flexi-postcard comes with a bonus download of an exclusive b-side track called 'gold hill'. following an abundance of highly commended east african-inspired garage punk 7" singles, splits, cassettes, compilation's under their collective belts, (with the likes of spectrals, male bonding, cold pumas, and women) and their much loved debut album 'everything is dancing', 'salt flats' sees fair ohs furthering their horizons into the worlds of west african / hawaiian funk, 60s psychedelic rock, eritrean guayla music and a whole heap of fleetwood mac - and, in the process making a super succinct album of esoteric punk joyfulness.
