The Haxan Cloak

Excavation

British experimental artist The Haxan Cloak returns with "Excavation", the follow up to his arresting 2011 debut.

This time Haxan Cloak’s mastermind, Bobby Krlic, is said to have incorporated more electronic influences into his new release, resulting in “an album awash with serrated beats and cavernous sub-bass, meshing with the classical drones and ghostly details The Haxan Cloak fans will have already been accustomed to.” He is said to have taken “a more minimalist approach” on Excavation, which involves “experimenting with space and silence without forsaking any of the intensity that made his debut such a powerful statement of intent.”
