Syd Arthur

Syd Arthur are a four piece band from Canterbury, England, comprised of Liam and Joel Magill, Fred Rother and Raven Bush. The band's name is taken from the Hermann Hesse novel Siddhartha, with the spelling changed reportedly as a nod to the influences of Syd Barrett and Arthur Lee. The band's sound draws comparisons with modern contemporaries like Wolf People, Black Mountain, Tame Impala - with dazzling musicianship and inventive lyrics, melodies and occasionally time signatures. Their previous release 'Sound Mirror' was released on Harvest in 2014 (with previous albums and EPs self-released). CD - Mintpack.
